I have been working my way through an excellent music documentary on 4OD recently....





All You Need Is Love is a documentary made in the 70's chronicling the history of popular music. It ranges from Delta Blues up to Alice Cooper. Features loads of cool footage including Cooper being hanged as part of his stage act and Jerry Lee Lewis doing all sorts of unholy things to his old Joanna..

Features lots of bad 70's shirts and is notable for featuring the legendary rock scribe Lester Bangs (as featured in the nostalgia fest Almost Famous)in the "Glitter Rock" episode where he basically says that rock has become shallow, vacuous and consumed by money and egotism...if only he had lived to see X Factor!
