Renoise

Been playing with Renoise this week - very cool. It's a sequencer system for Mac, PC and Linux, with a different approach......

They refer to it as a Mod Tracker - a step sequencer with a Hexaphonic input. Don't let that put you off, it's pretty easy to pick up. Although you can use it as stand-alone sequencer, it can also act as Rewire slave.

The demo is almost fully featured - you can't export .wav, and rewiring periodically gives you a faint hissing noise, but it's more than enough to see if you like it - the full version only costs €49 (around £40).
