Yet another time waster....
There seem to be loads of these alternative sequencer things out there, but anything that breaks the routine and helps you turn up with new music has to be good.
This one's called Orbs. Keep in mind you'll need a fairly powerful machine to run it smoothly.
If you're still stuck for inspiration, why not try Oblique Strategies? Created by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt, they're a set of cards, designed to spur you on to new ideas. Also available for the iPhone.
