Timbaland in trouble

So after years of people accusing Timbaland of, well. a little more than "borrowing" his music from other people, he's now being sued by Kernal Records for "original and central identifying melodic, harmonic and rhythmic components" for the Nelly Furtado track "Do It".
Here's the first evidence from the court case:
But here's another collection of his, well, theft:

Probably the scariest thing, though is this quote from the man himself...
"Sample and stole is two different things. Stole is like I walked in your house, watched you make it, stole your protools, went to my house and told Nelly, 'Hey, I got a great song for you.' Sample is like you heard it somewhere, and you just sampled. Maybe you didn't know who it was by because it don't have the credits listed."

OK, it's not theft if you don't know who it belongs to.....

  1. That's pretty low and disgusting. Liar and a thief. The two most despicable things one could be and he is both.
Reminds me of Satriani suing Coldplay. I don't know the current status of the case.
A breakdown of that issue by a musician...

To quote Joe Satriani: "I felt like a dagger went right through my heart. It hurt so much," he said. "The second I heard it, I knew it was 'If I Could Fly'."

It is one thing to sit down and say I want to write a song in the 'style of' or with the same 'mood and feel of', but what Timbaland is doing is theft. No question. I hope he is crucified.
