Oldies but Goodies

Here are some things we've featured before in the London School of Sound Newsletter, but they're worth mentioning again.

One of my favorite free plugins: the CamelCrusher from Camel Audio. A sort of distortion/compressor unit, great for fattening up your drum sounds. Available in AU and VST formats. Re-discovered it the other day- forgot how great it is!

For the Pro Tools users among you, if you haven't discovered Massey plugins yet, then you're missing out on something special.
The demos are fully featured at up to 48kHz sampling rate - but you'll have to note down the settings, as recall is disabled in the demo. And if you decide to buy them, they're only around $70 each, or $533 for the full set.

And finally, if you've not looked at the Hobnox Audiotool for a while, it's now got a Tone Matrix sequencer built in, as well as emulations of some classic Roland step sequencer/synths.
A great way to spend a couple of hours, and to learn how to program an 808, 909 and 303 without breaking the bank!
